Tokyo 2017: Overview

With confirmed speakers like Nissan’s new Senior Vice President of Global Design, Alfonso Albaisa, industry legend Shiro Nakamura and more, the 2017 Car Design Forum in Tokyo builds on the success of the first event in 2015.

This event, which coincides with the Tokyo motorshow, gathers the world’s most influential designers for a day of intense discussion and debate. The intimate nature of the forum promotes networking and shared creativity.

Confirmed speakers this year include: Shiro Nakamura, Nissan’s Alfonso Albaisa, Hyundai’s Luc Donckerwolke, Tata’s Pratap Bose, GAC’s Zhang Fan, Honda’s Tsuyoshi Matsuhashi, Toyota’s Yoshihiro Sawa, Aston Martin’s Marek Reichman, Alpine’s Antony Villain and several more.
