October 2015 saw the launch of the first ever Car Design Forum in Tokyo, one of the most exciting, culturally-rich and technologically-advanced cities in the world.

The day before the Tokyo Motor Show and coinciding with Tokyo Design Week, this one-day symposium was an intimate affair bringing together 200 delegates to meet and speak with the world’s most influential and well-respected designers. It offered a great opportunity for exploring ideas and sharing inspirations before viewing the latest car concepts and new releases.

Speakers included Shiro Nakamura, Gorden Wagener, Tokuo Fukuichi, Laurens van den Acker and Ikuo Maeda – an illustrious list of premier automotive designers.
